walk in the park

My Mom's here for the week, and Ellise is back, and Kaela can crawl, so we went to a park for pictures of it all. We may not have seasons here, but a few trees in San Diego do change colors. And all of them happened to be right where we were for this little expedition.

I was laughing so hard my stomach hurt.  Taking engagement pictures was never more fun than it was yesterday.  We went to a board shop, gave money to a... local, found a shopping cart in an alley, chased birds, and watched the sun set over San Diego.  It had rained all day so expectations of glorious sunsets were low.  Sometimes that's the best, though.  It made the whole afternoon glow.  

san francisco, baby!

We were only there for 2 1/2 days, so it was San Francisco in a blur. The man playing music on the sidewalk summed it up for me. I watched him for about half an hour. Nobody stops. (can't lose your momentum) But you get to walk to the tune of whoever has set themselves up on the corner. That puts a bounce in your step no matter how fast you're going.

absence

I have been silent for a few weeks now but wanted to say that I'll be back very soon. For now I'm off to San Francisco for some good times and (hopefully) even better pictures. So those will be up soon for the sharing, as well as my last two weddings.

So I'll be back in a few days, and much more present here following that.
